Approximately 3.8 billion people lack access to essential health services, and diagnostic interpretation remains a major bottleneck in remote and resource-constrained settings. Limited access to specialists and the complexity of biomedical signal interpretation (eg, ECG and EEG) contribute to delays in recognizing cardiovascular and neurological conditions.

Developmental delays have an adverse effect on the children of current society. Roughly one in six children shows a developmental delay, yet most are identified later than is optimal for intervention. That lag is due to reliance on clinic-based screening and uneven access to pediatric expertise.

In the United States, 37 million adults have chronic kidney disease and nearly 90% are unaware of their condition. This study develops an AI system combining electronic health records with socio-demographic and Social Determinants of Health factors to predict Stage 2-4 CKD risk in underserved populations, using an XGBoost model with SHAP-based explanation to enable proactive intervention before symptoms appear.
